Green season: November–April
The warmer green season means better availability and rates on safari, the ideal time to visit Cape Town and the Winelands, and Victoria Falls in full flood (February–May).
Dry season: May–October
Cooler and drier conditions see better visibility and higher game density around water sources. June–August is the ideal time for water-based safaris in the Okavango Delta.
